sunday almost right after church i left with four other 1027er’s to go to lake wedowee in alabama for a mini retreat to dream, pray, study the word and plan. it was a very helpful in hearing God and being obedient to the direction he is leading us a church. not to mention, i have always been a big fan of work play hard. so we had some recreational time on the lake – seadoo!

some friends of 1027church have this lake house available to the 1027church crew for the second and even provided the food. we are very thankful! very thankful! i’m excited about seeing how all this hard work unfolds in the weeks and months a head. God is going to rock our world.

the 1027church team – jessica, cameron, thomas, jonathan and myself left at 1 pm for alabama sunday. i cannot believe it but we were afforded this amazing opportunity to go pray, plan and play for about 36 hours at lake wedowee.
not only did we have an amazing place to stay lynn busby volunteered to come and cook all our meals . . . they where all amazing. Prayer time was great, planning was very helpful and there was some amazing jet skiing, pool tournaments, olympic watching and lots of team building . . . or just holy spirit unity.
